Don Diego

A passionate lover of life, Don Diego brings joy wherever he goes. With songs of love, transformation and freedom, his music is sometimes sultry, other times raucous.  Whether singing round the campfire at a Rainbow Gathering, or on the main stage of an international festival, Don Diego’s music catalyzes sacred and spontaneous celebration.

As “King of the Gypsies,” he co-founded and performed lead roles in THE  RAINBOW  GYPSY  THEATER, a vaudevillian traveling show that has been featured at jazz festivals, renaissance festivals, state fairs, county fairs, loading docks and laundromats. An accomplished guitarist, flutist and mandolin player, he has entertained people of all ages and nationalities on the roads of America and through international tours of Europe, India, Thailand, Bali, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

With a blend of exotic old-world gypsy music, hippie rock, heartsongs and chants, participatory theater and the universal language of laughter, Don Diego will stir your “inner gypsy” and get you on your feet, singing and dancing!
